Chengtoushan Tourist Attraction is located in Chengtoushan Town of Lixian County in Hunan Province, with a planned area of 3.5 square kilometers (about 5,000 mu). It includes three parts: Chengtoushan National Archaeological Site Park, Chengtoushan Colorful Daocheng and Chengtoushan-featured Town. The Construction of the archaeological site park is in the blue chart of the first phase. The second phase focuses on building "Colorful Daocheng" and Chengtoushan-featured Town. The attraction is to build into a 5A-level national tourist spot and a world-class cultural heritage tourist destination.

Chengtoushan National Archaeological Site Park, covering an area of 662 mu, is built on the ruins of Ancient Chengtoushan City, which was identified as the earliest ancient city ruins in China. Rice fields were found in the ruins, earning the site the reputation of "the earliest city in China and the origin of rice in the world". This archaeological discovery has been written into history textbooks of both secondary schools and universities. The site park mainly interprets and displays the cultural elements of the "city civilization" and "rice culture civilization" of Chengtoushan. The Tourist Avenue divides the site into 6 units from south to north: the Entrance Gate, the Tourist Service Center, the Square with Ex-president Jiang Zemin's inscription, Museum of Chengtoushan Ancient City Ruins, the Ecological Plaza of South Gate, and the moat-surrounded Chengtoushan Ruins Area.

Colorful Daocheng is a comprehensive park with a planned area of more than 2,500 acres. It integrates tourism, sightseeing, demonstration zone, leisure activities and experience area. Employing rice cultivation culture as the theme, the park covers 4 parts: the rice field hotel, the farming cultural park (the museum), the rice field painting garden, and the youth development base.

Chengtoushan-featured Town is located in the Zhoujiapo Community. Through the renovation of antique buildings, and construction of characteristic houses and business streets, it is to become a distribution center to provide catering, accommodations, transportation, travel, shopping and entertainment.
