On November 17, the kindergarten in Yaotianping Town, Dingcheng District, Changde City, invited folk artists to bring a vivid dragon and lion dance class to the children, so as to educate the children with the charm of dragon and lion culture and enhance their understanding of traditional intangible cultural heritage. Yaotianping town was once awarded the title of “Hometown of Chinese Folk Culture and Art” with the dragon and lion project. In 2015, Yaotianping dragon lantern was listed in the provincial intangible cultural heritage list of Hunan Province.
