The 23rd Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Exposition Held in Changsha
On October 28, the 23rd Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Exposition opened in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, which will last for 5 days. 107 agricultural enterprises of Changde with more than 200 kinds of agricultural products with good quality participated in the exhibition. The Agricultural Exposition is sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Hunan People's Government, and undertaken by Hunan Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Changsha People's Government. It has 7 pavilions with a total exhibition area of 95,000 square meters. With the theme of "Brand leading modern agriculture, the science and technology revitalize the countryside", the Agricultural Exposition focuses on displaying new achievements in the work of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" in the new era. The following achievements are displayed: food security, rural revitalization leading, agricultural brand building, agricultural science and technology, seed industry, agricultural equipment, agricultural modernization, industrial integration, agricultural and forestry products, new rural construction, Hunan cuisine, and agricultural support, etc., which helped to carry out the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) with practical actions and to speed up the construction of a powerful agricultural country.
The 107 enterprises of Changde exhibited in county (city) pavilion, food hall, rural revitalization hall, with exhibition area of 1348 square meters. The products featuring local style, include Jinjian, Huale, Wuling black tea, Changde fragrant rice and Changde beef rice noodles, which are popular among visitors.
