After the election, Yu Huaimin was elected as the Director of the Standing Committee of Changde Municipal People’s Congress, Zhou Zhenyu as the Mayor of Changde Municipal People's Government, Yin Zhengxi, Li Yuzhi, Zou Rulong, Shi Yulin, Zhang Yang, Liao Keyuan and Guo Binchen as Deputy Directors of the Standing Committee of Changde Municipal People’s Congress, Xu Yongjian, Luo Xiandong, Yang Chengying, Zhou Daihui, Yu Liangyong, Tan Ding, Guo Bixun, Fu Yong as Vice Mayors of Changde Municipal People’s Government, He Yihui as Director of Changde Municipal Supervision Committee, Zhang Jingwei as President of Changde Municipal Intermediate People's Court, Liu Youren recommended as Procurator General of Changde Municipal People’s Procuratorate, and Li Shaoxia elected as Secretary General of the Standing Committee of Changde Municipal People’s Congress.

In the meeting, the Draft on the Establishment of the Special Committees of the Eighth Changde People’s Congress was voted and adopted, so was the list of members of the special committees of the Eighth Changde people’s Congress.
