On December 15, two dance shows Ingenuity and Love Song During Seedlings Planting from Changde made the début in the Dance Session of the Mass Culture Stage Art Activities of the 7th Hunan Art Festival.

As the highest level comprehensive art activity in Hunan, Hunan Art Festival is held every three years. The art festival will be opened in Hunan Grand Theatre on December 20. Its five main activities include the opening ceremony, professional stage art activities, mass culture stage art activities, provincial art, calligraphy and photography exhibition, and the closing ceremony & the award ceremony. The 7^th Festival will be held in three cities of Changsha, Yiyang and Xiangtan. 3 newly-created dramas and 3 micro-dramas were shortlisted for the professional stage art activities, 9 pieces of works were shortlisted for mass culture stage art activities in five categories, and 15 pieces of works were shortlisted for the provincial art, calligraphy and photography exhibition. All will be displayed at the Art Festival.

The whole event will last until January 6, 2022.
