 On Oct. 29th, the 11th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 8th Special Olympic Games came to a close in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, and 12 Changde athletes won 21medals, including 11 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze medals.

Huang Xing and Yang Chao, the shooters, Wei Enlong, the track and field athlete, and Yang Junfeng, the swimmer, are the veterans who have participated in the Tokyo Paralympic Games this year. Huang Xing has won 6 gold medals including the individual and team gold medals in SH1A25-metre slow acceleration motion pistol, 10-metre air pistol, and 50-metre optional pistol. Yang Chao has won the individual silver and team gold in SH1A25-metre slow acceleration motion pistol, 10-metre air pistol, and the team gold in 50-metre optional pistol. Wei Enlong has recovered from the defeat of Tokyo Paralympic Games and won the gold medal in F46 men's shot-put.

Hou Xu from Shimen County has won the silver in T11 men's 400-metre, 800 metre and T11-T13 men's 4×100m relay race. Tang Shengwei has won the bronze in S10 100-metre backstroke. Tian Shihuai has won the bronze in S7 100-metre breaststroke.
