Home Service for Disabled Veterans
On January 10 and 11, the medical treatment expert team from Rongjun Hospital, accompanied by the staff from the Civil Affairs Bureau of Changde City, went to visit two veterans who were wounded on duty.
One of the veterans is 73-year-old Tang Huizhi whose legs were amputated by a bomb in the war to aid Vietnam. The other veteran is 63-year-old Wang Xinhua who became paralyzed and confined to bed because of the collapse of a railroad tunnel in construction.
The expert team gave them a body check, and The Civil Affairs Bureau of Changde City provided them with funds and common medicine.
