Wei En’long, a Changde Guy, Won a Gold Medal in the World Para Athletics Championships in London 2017

        The eighth World Para Athletics Championships was held in London during July 14 to July 23, 2017. On the fifth day, a Changde guy, Wei En’long, won a god medal in the competition of shot. He was born in a small village in Hanshou county on December 23, 1986. Although he lost his right palm in an accident, he has been keeping the enthusiasm of life and sports, since he was little. With long hours of professional training on shot, discus throw and javelin throw for over 10 years, he has won more than 30 medals in varied competition in the country. What’s more, he broke new world records in shot and discus throwing in the ninth National Disabled Sports Meet in Chengdu Sichuan province, in September 2015. He also wan two silver medals in the World Para Athletics Championships in Doha Katar in 2015.
